 il aboard our exclusive 12-passenger yacht to explore the ski touring peak
 s of the Lyngen Alps. Each day\, we anchor in secluded bays or small fishi
 ng villages and set out on a ski tour amidst the breathtaking scenery — 
 the glittering white mountains contrasting with the deep blue sea. Afterno
 ons and evenings are spent fishing on deck\, enjoying a glass of wine in t
 he wood-paneled saloon\, or relaxing in the warm hot tub on the ship’s a
 ft deck. A quick dip in the cool waters of the Norwegian fjords refreshes 
 tired legs\, readying them for the next day’s ski adventure. Each day a 
 new adventure As Ylva sails between anchoridges and harbors\, new peaks an
 d new possibilities emerge. Friday - Embark and meet the crew Departure fr
 om Tromsø\, the “Paris of the North.” Famous polar explorers such as 
 Roald Amundsen and Fridtjof Nansen set out from Tromsø by ship on their e
 xpeditions. We won’t be venturing quite as far from civilization\, but s
 ecluded bays and spectacular ski touring mountains are still the goal of t
 his Ski & Sail tour. At the harbor\, your skipper will already be waiting 
 for you. We’ll spend the first night in the harbor of Tromsø. The welco
 ming pubs and bars of the “Paris of the North” provide a great way to 
 kick off the ski touring week. Saturday to Thursday - From peak to peak in
  Lyngen Early Saturday morning\, we leave the harbor and set course for th
 e Lyngen alps. Several slopes are available to us around Lyngen over the n
 ext days\, and depending on the conditions\, our experienced guides choose
  the best destination for each day. From the summits\, we take in panorami
 c views of the fjords\, the peninsula\, and its surrounding islands. Each 
 descent takes us back down to the ship\, where a warm and nourishing meal
