 ail aboard our exclusive sailing yacht to explore the ski touring peaks of
  the Lyngen Alps. Each day\, we anchor in secluded bays or small fishing v
 illages and set out on a ski tour amidst the breathtaking scenery — the 
 glittering white mountains contrasting with the deep blue sea. Afternoons 
 and evenings are spent fishing on deck\, enjoying a glass of wine in the w
 ood-paneled saloon\, or relaxing in the warm hot tub on the ship’s aft d
 eck. A quick dip in the cool waters of the Norwegian fjords refreshes tire
 d legs\, readying them for the next day’s ski adventure. Each day a new 
 adventure As Ylva sails between anchoridges and harbors\, new peaks and ne
 w possibilities emerge. Friday - Embark and meet the crew Departure from T
 romsø\, the “Paris of the North.” Famous polar explorers such as Roal
 d Amundsen and Fridtjof Nansen set out from Tromsø by ship on their exped
 itions. We won’t be venturing quite as far from civilization\, but seclu
 ded bays and spectacular ski touring mountains are still the goal of this 
 Ski & Sail tour. At the harbor\, your skipper will already be waiting for 
 you. We’ll spend the first night in the harbor of Tromsø. The welcoming
  pubs and bars of the “Paris of the North” provide a great way to kick
  off the ski touring week. Saturday to Thursday - From peak to peak in Lyn
 gen Early Saturday morning\, we leave the harbor and set course for the Ly
 ngen alps. Several slopes are available to us around Lyngen over the next 
 days\, and depending on the conditions\, our experienced guides choose the
  best destination for each day. From the summits\, we take in panoramic vi
 ews of the fjords\, the peninsula\, and its surrounding islands. Each desc
 ent takes us back down to the ship\, where a warm and nourishing meal is w
